Who am I?

My name is Christina Eason, and I am a writer. I will tell you now that I refuse to say "aspiring writer." I do not aspire to write; I do write. I have written. My aspiration is to have my story published.

At present, I have written a dystopian fantasy novel that is approximately 104,000 words. I have spent countless hours writing, reading, re-writing, and re-reading. The cycle once seemed endless, but I can now say that I am one-hundred percent satisfied with the story.

I have created this blog to document the journey writing has, is, and will continue to take me on. I also plan to post some excerpts from my writing. I am not comfortable revealing characters' names or the title of the novel, but I would like to share some (non-revealing) parts of the story.

My current goal is simply to have my manuscript requested by an agent. My long-term goal would be to have my novel published. Hopefully, there will come a time when I can say that I have a achieved that goal.
